Headlight not turning on

So here is the problem, i think it might be a fuse but my passenger headlight still works.

I am installing TRS FX-R Projectors in my tacoma, I detached the driver side male connection and plugged it into the H4 Wire Harness that comes with the package from TRS. It only worked when my high beams were on so I pulled out the H4 harness and projectors and plugged the male headlight connection back into the stock harness.

When I turn my headlights on now my driver side headlight won't light up, high or low. Nothing.... my blinker still works and my parking lights....

Any idea how to go about this? I cleaned the connections again, maybe the bulb is out?

 

Try switching bulbs?

Otherwise...

grab a MM (multimeter) and test the bulb and the connection with lights on. Very practical tool that is ~30 for a decent one. Youtube how to use it if you don't know.

For the bulb test continuity and resistance compared to the working one.

If the bulb is good you might have a broken wire somewhere

 

Check the bulb. Within the two first months of having my truck, both headlights went out, within minutes of eachother, I thought it was a fuse because both dying seemed so unbelievably unlikely, but both had just burnt out.

 

it could be the fuse...my high beam fused somehow went out when i was doing my retros and wasnt letting anything work also as stated b4 check everything with a volt meter just to play it safe

 

it was hi/low fuses, got it fixed. bout too go buy a volt meter too thanks guys
