Depends on what you're willing to do

265/75r16 will fit with no rubbing, even when wheeling

everything else will require some sort of cutting

With only minor trimming they will only rub on full lock and stuff.

In reference to the numerous threads I constantly read with everyone cracking on new members or those seeking information about their truck...By no means am I trying to be a dick or start anything, but I see it all too often and I happen to come across TigerFan's Post regarding the "use the search engine" thread

Directly from TigerFan on another Forum:

    BUT

I've noticed lately several things that just dont sit well with me...and i want to bring them up so that everyone can take notice

This site is what it is because of both the members and the moderators...we have a LOT of new members who join every day to find out new information about their trucks. Many people arent as well informed as some of yall out there may feel you are...or how you feel they should be. Not everyone who joins has ever been a member of a forum before, and many have never owned a truck or wanted to modify or work on a vehicle theyve owned before.

It used to be that there was a "race" so to speak between members as to who could correctly answer a post first...regardless of how many times that post had been made in the past. It's becoming more and more evident that this has fallen by the wayside in favor of posts such as

Quote:" I refuse to answer your question. There is a wealth of information from many people who couldn't use a search tool, much like you. Give it a shot!"

This is a bullshit answer that will, if repeated too often, turn this site into every other toyota forum on the net. I dont care HOW many times someone asks if a tire size will fit...or where they should buy Bil. 5100s or whatever it is thats asked a million times in a million ways by half the new people that come on here...

TW has a tendancy to take threads off-topic...which i enjoy because many times, several other questions may get answered or someone else gets the help they needed. Because of this, asking...no...demanding that new users or anyone who posts a (God forbid) repeated question...is silly...a search is going to yield a bunch of us yakking about God knows what. Either answer the question, or dont post unless the question has been sufficently answered by a party who DOES know. Its not like its your server space its taking up room on...its Bob's

    :D

I was reading anothe thread on here under "Sites and Suggestions" and happen to come across that which TigerFan wrote.

As I said, I constantly am on differnet forums, and when a person asks a question about lifts, tires, etc, theres always people saying use the search feature...

Idk, to me, it gets old after a while. And as TigerFan said, we constantly are getting new members on here who have questions and concerns regarding their truck. Our first response to them, aside from welcoming the to TW, should not be use the search function...

Idk, maybe I the only one that gets annoyed by it, but whatevs...

If you have 16'' wheels I would recommend you go with 255/85/16 tires which are a 33x10x16

thanks for quoting the half time speech there...but it was not really necessary. dont try to be a hero because someone says to search

op: its just as much about width as it is height. a 33x10.5 will fit great with little to no trimming on anything under 4.5" back spacing (stock wheel). 33 is the max until you lift it to a 6" in which case you better gear down for those 34/35s. if you want a wider tire you need different rims or spacers. just TRY the search function and see what you find, if you dont get any answers after looking for a bit then make a post.

And it gets old after a while after there are threads like this started almost daily when all the noob has to do is spend a little time searching to find his answer instead of clogging up the forum with a bunch of clutter that has already been answered tons of times, but thats just me.

No need to try and be all cocky. Not trying to turn this thread into a pissing match, just sayin. If you don't feel like reading a thread that someone posts, you don't have to. For some, it is easier for them to make a thread that pertains directly to their truck as opposed to to having to rummage through old search threads with all kinds of information that may or may not pertain to the original question.

    Alright, I'm done being a hero ;)

i have these on my truck in the form of bfg km2s and love them. still rubbs on full lock but im trying some 3/4" spacers to see if they help but they are manageable and only rub on full lock!
