What do you guys think? I have a 06 PreRunner DC 6ft 72k paid off and I'm really thinking about selling it to get the new BRZ from Subaru. Would you guys do it? I really don't use my truck for anything except just drive around town. 99 percent of the time, there's nothing in my bed and this truck has never even towed anything at all. Iono what to do...

Scion will sell it under the FR-S name. Subaru sells the beefier version BRZ. I've been watching these things since toyota first started rumors about a new rear wheel drive sports car. Should be a sweet little car.

If the truck is paid off, why not keep it and get a BRZ?

those are badass lil cars for sure. as soon you trade your taco for one, you will regret it. trucks earn their keep, and you can always make money with atruck. KEEP the taco, and go buy the lil sportscar for your ego. i miss my paid-off 05 camry se v-6, which i traded in for my 2010 taco. the dealer will screw you on your taco as trade in. and soon as you sell that taco, you will find you really need that truck bed!! sounds like you got the car shop bug that i've had for all my life. careful, stay away from dealerships.there is always a new ride calling us to come see...$$$$$$$$$ peace, brother

I would never trade my truck for anything other than another truck. That being said, I sure do miss my '87 MR2 as an economical commuter. The Subaru BRZ has been piquing my interest.

If you don't use the truck for more than a passenger vehicle, then why not. You are giving up a bed an back seat, but if you don't use em, why have em. Friends with trucks can help you that 1% of the time, plus there's always a rental to be had if you need it for a week or so. I wouldn't trade though. As always, you can do much better with CL or Auto Trader. Go for a test drive. Just don't look into the salesman's eyes when he asks "you want to trade the Tacoma?"

Wouldn't you want to wait a bit? I thought this intro was a pretty basic car and some performance packages are coming in the not incredibly distant future?

are you stuck on the coupe? I would pickup a used STi or tweaked WRX for a lot less .. much more fun to drive AWD in my opinion.

Not sure you can really assert that since there's no way you've driven one yet. Not only that, it's supposed to be one of THE best drivers cars to come out in recent history. Lowest center of gravity out of pretty much any car out there.

You better make your decision quick, last I heard there will only be 4000 units state side, pre orders are probably pretty hot right now.
