Well, DSM didn't think there would be any problem running that setup and I told them I would be rock crawling with them. :notsure: Besides I really don't think that the 1" difference between the springs will make that big of a difference and cause binding.

Hey Linwood, go stuff the shit outta your front coilovers and let me know if there is any binding :D

Wait didn't Slimwood just throw some King coils on Icon's? Or am I mistaken?

It's entirely possible you'll hit bumpstop before you bind them. I haven't confirmed this happening; Sasquatch mentioned that Icon told him that when he inquired about using the King springs.

How much it would matter is debatable. No one's really tested it. If you do hit bumpstop before binding the coils, that makes my choice of King v. Custom easy. Plus man, those blue coils :D

Yeah, but he no have additional front weight right now. Soon, though.

Looking forward to seeing what happens.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
DSM didn't mention anything about coil bind w/ my king coils that are 2" longer. About 2" less thread showing for the same lift. Also about the same space between the coils as the stock WE ones

Well I'll truly test it out if I get the wife to approve, which I think she will. Blue coils don't matter I'll paint them just to spite you. :D

I know you and JAndrews have changed gears, what brands did you guys go with? I am Looking into locking the front with either nitro or yukon gears and replacing the rear gears but keeping the stock locker for now.
