I've got an apple related question for you, Brent!! My girlfriend spilled water on her mac book pro and now it doesn't turn on 95% of the time. And when it does, the keyboard is inop and it just doesn't work properly. I took it to the apple store and they wanted $750 to ship it out and replace the motherboard(or whatever mac calls it) without even looking at it!! Do you have any suggestions on how to get it back to normal, or tests to perform to pinpoint the exact problem?

had to to upgrade farther...the way their upgrades work is you have to upgrade in steps, each new adds a little, then the next some more, and then you get this really awesome looking one but if you didn't buy the other upgrades you can't...

their way of squeezing more money out of you basically...fortunately upgrades are usually only $30 a piece.

If you had completely dried it out 100% before turning it on, it'd probably be fine.

Since you've turned it on, the damage has most likely been done already.

Is it more than like ... 10 minutes? They normally take a little while to boot up. It should get just a little faster about that after it's "learned" a little bit. Superior computers and operating systems take longer to start.

Ok Apple nerds here is a question. My ipod touch 2nd gen. has something wrong with the earphone jack. Sound cuts in and out, won't come on at all, may work in one ear and not the other etc...Is this something I can fix myself? Is it worth fixing or is it cost prohibitive..thanks all~!:):)
