gm does a comparison and the only thing they could come up with that was better is onstar. and they had to go and mention it 100 times in a 4 minute video, bravo gm, bravo

What a crock of shit. I used every character I could on their comment page. Granted I know it's from GMC but a styling comparison? When did a mater of opinion become a factual bullet point?! Pfft bunch of idiots...

Sleek Exterior Styling!? Which truck looks sexier than a Tacoma?... NONE!

WTF would I want leather seats in my truck? Shit is hot, and would get ruined by my uniform and the stuff I play in (both off road and at work)...

Oh snap! No leather wrapped steering wheel!? Not getting that truck... ROFL!

I don't need to seat 6 in my Taco... my friends are all driving their Taco's...

Two position tailgate? So up or down, correct?

Programmable Driver Info Center? Can't use that as an advatage if you don't say what it is... if it is just memory settings on the driver's seat, then Tacoma owners don't need it because only we drive our Taco's...

OnStar is shit... that is all...

Ooh... we are going to brag about 26 HP and 10 ft lbs? I don't need that, because in my Tacoma, everything I want / need starts coming to me making the trip shorter.

Oh shit! They praised the Taco! Even they can't help but speak truth when they try to BS the people! And again, they don't explain HOW what they have is better, they just say it is.

Again praise for the Taco! Then GMC follows it up by saying their machine is superior because it has onboard diagnostics and a better warranty? What that tells me is that they know their crap mobile is going to break down! The Tacoma doesn't offer it, because the Tacoma doesn't need it!

ROFL at the Canyon's safety "features"! We don't have DRL standard because Taco drivers aren't blind douch-nozzles! And again with the OnStar... that system is still a joke!

/end video dissection after a clear Tacoma victory!

Yeah, I mean is that a joke? Like I need an "oil life monitor" and "28 millimeter sway bar control" or whatever. That extra BS is probably why the canyon sucks!

That's a training video for gmc sales people. Every truck has pros and cons. They really have to reach hard to find features on the gmc that are better than Tacoma. Most of which look like personal preference. You could add a cell phone holder to a canyon and then say that "canyon is compatible with a cell phone and Tacoma is not". On-star would have been cool technology before cell phones. But now days its about as useful as a cassette player.

Notice how other manufacturers have to compare to toyotas. Maybe because toyotas are simply more reliable. Our tacos will last longer and be more affordable to repair when necessary. And as a lot of other people pointed out, it's a gm ad. They need to do some more research and use more factual information and maybe about things people that buy trucks for the right reasons care about.

When I was looking for a mid sized truck and doing my research, I went to Edmunds.com and they out-right said to not bother with the Canyon/Colorado. They said the mid-sized line only had two trucks in it - the Tacoma and the Frontier.
Plus I thought the GM/Chevy mid sized trucks were ugly and the interior was mid-80s cheap looking.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
They forgot to mention the interior degrading inside the Canyon after a few years and the rest of the thing turn into a rattle trap, also how the Tacoma will run in excess of 300k miles when properly maintained, I'd love to see a Canyon or Colorado go 100k.
