    Its not the same as the 6 lugs is it? Cause I thought We have different size differentials.

    I think read somewhere that the TRD offroad diff is 8" and every other diff is 8.4". I think it's somewhere in the 5-lug section.

    The only difference is the number bolt pattern on the ring. The ring/pinion that will fit the 2nd gen 5 lugs has a 12-bolt pattern (referred to as the 8.4").

    6 lug, 2nd gens have a 10-bolt pattern, referred to as the 8".

    So just to be clear, expect to pay $150-$350 for ring/pinions, $300 for master install kit, and $300-$500 for install.

    IMO, the best thing to do is buy a complete diff and do the 3rd member swap.

    **check TTORA for the best price. It maybe used but you could by the ring/pinion for about $100 shipped.

    isnt that the power trax no-slip? it engages itself when it feels one of the wheels slip.

    Yep, it will disengage when both tires have traction.

    x2. Manual transmission will play well with the Powertrax no-slip locker, Part# 92-2080-3002.

    Yea I agree with neslerrah it's probably your best bet. People say they work really well. And are about 400 somethin or around that area, and people say you can do the install at home with regular hand tools. But if you have air tools in sure the work would go by alot easier.

    Yes, you can do the install yourself. I think the 'rebuild kit' you are referring to is the master install kit for re-gearing. You do not need it for the no-slip locker.
