    The bed is designed similar to the 2nd gen taco with the notches in the bed sides for wood cross bars. The tailgate can be positioned partially down to where it's level with where those boards are, to make another support point for longer material like drywall plywood etc.

    I always thought the S10 was a decent truck, but when the Canyons and Colorados came along the GM small truck line went to shit, still, I would take a first gen Tacoma over a S10 any day of the week!

    Just to try and keep things straight this video isn't from GM. These videos were put together by some GMC dealership in Manchester, NH. It say's that right on their main page. I think GM would be smart enough to pick a Nissan or a Mitsubishi to compare the Canyon to instead of the #1 midsize pickup in the nation.
