    Just installed my cab racks and the yakima mega warrior plus the extension today. Honestly it might be a little big for the truck but it was such a good deal I could not pass it up.Just waiting for the tire carrier to come in and see how a full sized spare fits on the cab.

    It will be great for long camping trips but might be a bit much for every day use.

    Its pretty easy to install and remove. Took me about 5 min once it was assembled to install. Its only weighs 45lbs so you can sling it up with out help. I am now trying to figure out how to wire up a few lights with some sort of quick connect. For now Im just going to leave it on as the truck is not a daily driver and slowly being converted to a expedition vehicle.

    Surprisingly not really, I tested with just the racks and there was a little hum. Once I installed the basket not much more. It's not silent but with the windows but I didn't hear a noticeable difference vs just the bars. Windows down at 75mph it had a little hum but the windows being down made WAY more noise.

    Downside... Look for about a 2mpg drop with that thing on. I have a Loadwarrior, had it on. Took it off because I think someone tried to jack it but anyways. The first drive with it off my mpg's jumped up 2.3. Look at getting the locking brackets for it.

    Oh yeah you would def lose anywhere in the 2-3 mpg range. As far as someone trying to steal it... I could see that too. PPL are crazy these days.

    ^^^Same boat!!!!! Would not want to lose another 2 mpg though. I am hoping to change jobs which will be around 30 miles round trip less which will be nice.

    I looked at the load warrior, almost went that direction but thought the extra space might come in handy. Kinda wish there was something in between for less than a $1000 Baja rack.

    I drive a Diesel Jetta wagon to work (60+ miles each way). Im sure with it loaded up with camping gear, gas cans, water, and a full sized spare I wont even want to know the milage! But it will be nice to be able to throw the dogs in the back and head out to death valley for a week and not have to worry about space.
