Did you see Torts after the game? Wonder if he'll be fined for his comments regarding PITT - might not since he wasn't badmouthing the officials...

As for the hit, not sure Orpik will see as many as 5 games since there's one reg season game before the playoffs begin. It also depends if Stepan is injured (and how bad). After hearing how fired up Torts is, I can see the NYR stretching this one out to get Orpik more games. He's been suspended before I think for hitting Franzen knee on knee as well.

Here's the hit: To me this looked like a hockey play, Orpik as a dman did the classic move skating directly at Stepan so Stepan would have to be the player moving out of the way. Orpik was smart showing a follow-through with his arms like he missed a check.

Kings announcers are talking about how that play single handily lost the game for the Kings in the post game. Gimme a F'ing break.

In any case still one of the more entertaining games I've seen in awhile. Way too many penalties called, but still a fun game to watch. Oughta be another crazy one on Saturday.

I never heard such a thing. Yes it is true that we could have had a break because it was a power play. Hope Clowe gets some suspension for that shit.Talk about sportsmanship. And of course his quote after the game: Clowe told reporters, “I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I’ll have to see the video or something. Someone show me the video.”

Wasn't he smiling on the bench after he got hit? Hope he's ok, he took a bad one, idk if its a suspension or not, didnt look like Orpik tried to get him with his knee just bad luck.
