I go to a local shop here. I have a great artist. He normally hooks me up with everything.

:anonymous: Some things in life you shouldn't cheap out on.. Brakes and tattoo's are some of them. The pricing on just my current design and sketching for my next one is already over 500.. :anonymous:

Not gonna lie, ass hurt worst then my spine did, I've got the top 1/4 of my back done. The last 3/4's is going to be about 40 hours.

That 500 I mentioned is JUST for the current artwork, not including ink

Basically a Gaurdian Angel that spans my whole back:
    - Male
    - Battle torn/ dented/ broken heavy armour
    - Realistic / Dark art style
    - Weapon will be a maul (in memory of my sweden trip) with viking symbols adorned all across it.
    - More of a ready stance pose then like an action stance
    - UV Ink accents along different parts of the armour. Still debating on this one.
    - Angel wings

If I had to decribe it, that'd be how currently. and INSANE amounts of detailing

Wow, that sounds cool, I have Day of the Dead skull with green death coming out of it (vapor), roses, shrunken heads, and a Reaper's Scythe behind it all

cell phone pic, but you get the point, classic ink style, only two places did it hurt like you wouldn't believe, rest of it was just run of the mill pain.

I am an old fart and just do not understand the attraction of tats.

No need to tell me why. I just accept them and think they are a personal choice made by the bearer of the tats.

I will say that some are meaningfull and some are just WTF.

I do know that tats have been around for a long long long time so in some respects they are normal.

Tom, I agree with you. I have friends of mine covered in some of thee most rediculous tattoos you've ever seen. One of them has quagmire from family guy sitting on his nipple, another has a pie slice of swiss cheese on his leg so he can win drinks at bars by betting people that he has the "Cheesiest tattoo ever".

I thought for 4 years to get my first one, it was in memory of my brother who passed away. My next will be homage to my faith and some other facets of my life. and now I can even say I've got an awesome silly one :D
