Good morning all. We start to house clean today for Easter dinner. I am also taking my son to buy a decent inexpensive bike.

Any suggestions on where to buy this bike?

I may stop off at a bike shop without him on my way home from the gym this morning and if I like the prices take him with me later on in the day. i know entry level biles like a trek start around $600 but I am not going to spend that much on a bike that he may or may not use all the time.

Morning Jim, Tom, Rob and everyone...Happy Good Friday!! Check Walmart for there Mongoose bikes Tom...they are about $100 and for an entry bike they aren't too bad. My son gave me one he got out of somebodies trash with a bent rim, took it to Sports Authority for a new rim ($10 installed) and been using the bike for 2 years with no problems. Your son can always upgrade later if he enjoys riding....Ken

Chet is doing much better, Today is the end of round 4 only 2 more to go. Looks like he will go back to work in July. He works for Fla. DOT. The folks from all over the state have given him there sick days and vac. days ( over 400 days and growing) DAM,, At the end of the year he can sell them back to the state to help with what Ins. will not cover. Cool to be well liked,, Jim

Yep, a little frost here too. Been picking up limbs and cutting logs this weekend. Had a big blow-down last summer and lost a few hundred trees. Got the boat in the water and patterned the shotgun for turkeys. Good weekend so far.

 I'm still watching snow melt...and it's mixed snow/rain today. But that's okay...speeds up the melting of the old stuff.

:jellydance: I'm still adding to my list while I wait for it to dry up enough to get busy.

Just checking in...enjoy the weekend! :)

Just back from mass - enjoying a beer. Our grandson colored eggs today - soon to bed for him so the bunny can come.

Jim - we regularly have frost into May and sometimes after that.
