    oil change...
    When I was in south korea (on base) they did not use pennies. everything was rounded up or down to the nearest nickle. They were trying to cut cost on shipping all the pennies back and forth from S. Korea and the US.

    Winch, front hitch, step bars, bed extender, bed step, gull-wing toolbox, tailgate lock, security system, cb radio, etc.
    Outside CONUS, the military does the same worldwide. However, I've noticed shopping facilities (BX/PX, commissaries, snack bars, gas stations, etc) nearly always seem to round up, not down. For example, darn little is priced at $xx.91, $xx.92, and similar. Instead, nearly all prices are $xx.98 or $xx.99, and similar. Rounded to the nearest nickel, that's a penny or two profit on each transaction, hundreds of thousands per theator and millions worldwide each year. Needless to say, this is all very popular with the shopping facilities - soldiers, sailers, and airmen gain nothing.
