yea i thought so too...will be quite the opposite from last summer where wheelin season was postponed due to the deep snow pack...should be able to hit up the high ones earlier this year

 

WOW, that is nutty. Although i dont doubt it, sunday while driving through summit county it looked very bare. Im hoping that Winterpark biking will be open by mid may this year. Usually its June before they open.

 

I'd rather hit them sooner in the season. There's no telling what we'll get for rain this season and it my dry out up there quick. I'd rather see it when it's at least somewhat green.

 

Was able to snap a few pics in moab while out this past weekend.

A couple of caves are just behind Kens Lake. Go up and over the fire road CO RD 175 which leads you to Steel Bender trail head to the right. Go left and just across a creek crossing you will see the caves up on the hillside to the right. I started to take my truck down steel bender but chickened out at the creek crossing. My bumper and hitch thanked me. My friends Xterra scraped on the way in and on the way back out. I figured mine sticks out a bit more then it so i would have scrapped really bad, and im a chicken

I really didnt have any time to play around in moab and want to head back sometime soon. Cant make the may moab tacoma trip though.
