    RIP Lucy.
    She's gone but not forgotten.
That's wild! I was about 15 or so, was playing dirt lot football when a kid from the other side and me were heading for the same ball. He was about a head taller than me, we collided and he left his front teeth in the top of my head. Our parents took us to the hospital in the same car, I had blood pouring down my head, he had it pouring out of his mouth. Quite the emergency room sight.

The statement about memory being jarred is too true, I had forgotten about that until I read AKs post.

myself...once i was playing kickball back in the day...and i went to catch one...and it hit the tip of my right middle finger...in doing so it dislocated my right ring finger and my right middle finger...the middle finger relocated itself into the ring finger socket...it also snapped one of the bones in my middle finger and so it was kind of pointing sideways...

    good times
i've had a cancerous mole removed from my back

ive smashed my head open 3 times...

i ripped open my wrist on a broken window (that i had just broken) and was 1/4" from slicing that artery

I fought going to the dr about stomach pains for 2 days...mom eventually made me go...my appendix was almost completely perforated

i got a treated lumber splinter in the palm of my left hand once when i worked for 84 Lumber...it completely buried itself and was about an inch long...i cut that sucker out with a razor blade

well i see injuries is the topic tonite i've got a couple first one:
a buudy and me always rode 4-wheelers (illegally but irrelevant) on public hunting/paper mill forest... lots of trails and holes and mud everything that two teenage guys with a couple of 4-wheelers need. so we unload and get everything ready and start up and go beatin ass back the road dirt gravel roads perfect for powersliding through the turns. we get to this blind right hand turn and we are busting ass but are still on the inside of the turn. LUCKILY!!!! we start through the turn and out of nowhere this old jeep pickup comes flyin through the turn and they are on the inside of the turn and that is where we are riding!!! there are two little trees in the ditch and a fuckin pickup truck in the road. my buddy is leading and he makes it between the truck and the tree. I made it past the truck but my right front wheel caught the tree and i ate a extreme amount of shit. The bike stops immediatley and i fly over the handle bars... the truck is long gone.... and i land on my right side with my arm extended above my head so it was my entire right side that i rode up the dirt road. and you wanna know the real kick in the nuts... it was very hot that day so me, in my infinite wisdom, decided to rip the sleeves out of my shirt before we started. i hit, stop sliding, adreneline pumping i jump up flip the bike back on its wheels kick it, it fires off and i try to go the front wheel is totalled so we get loaded back up and the pain sets in and i start sticking to everything we get back to the house and me and my wisdom we were talking about decided to have my buddy turn the ICE cold garden hose on my wounds. Holy SHIT!!!! I thought that i was going to pass out.. i had rash and gravel from my right elbow to my armpit and clean down to my belt and i thought that i might of broken my hip. took me a couple weeks to get over that one. then that nite we decided to go to the stock car races i think i might of went into shock because i was so cold and it was like 95 out and i was shivering like crazy
