    No, not likely going to take X-1s as trade.

    I have been having to swap out X-1s for UCONs in some of the Mk3 supercharger kits due to on going never ending problems with the X-1.

    If you have a good one you are golden, if you have a buggy one it is hell.

    is it the same gears as the X-1?

    im sure its the same as the X-1 and that wasnt to bad. hardest part was timing the engine honestly.

    pull valve covers, intake manifold, and time engine and pull bolts and make sure new gears line up right.

    the thermostat isnt hard at all. just make sure u drain enough of the coolant out before doing it.


    here are the instructions for that part of the X-1. shouldnt be any different for the UCON

    no, toyota hasnt released the connectors for the 09+ trucks, so its not plug and play with the UCON or the APR X-1. but yes, it can control larger fuel injectors and E85 just like the APR X-1. the UCON does everything the APR X-1 does and more.

    According to the instructions (i just got my header saturday) you re-use the stock gasket at the engine and the donut gasket at the cat pipe. It does say if the donut gasket is damaged you'll have to get a new one at the toyota dealership.
