3" RBP Lift? Anyone?

I've tried searching through this forum for someone running a RBP leveling kit 3"front/1"rear. I just bought my 2012 Tacoma DBL cab 4x4 Sport last wed and ordered a RBP leveling kit for it Tues. Just wanting to know if anyone had dealt with this company. Ive been doin this crap a long time but never messed with RBP. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

 

super mega ultra ridiculous fantasically disproportionally expensive for items that arent particularly amazing.

save your money and look up better lifts

in all seriousness op, that company is severly over priced and much better options can be found for less money. perhaps bilisteins 1500's? probalbly be cheaper than anything rbp makes.

Okay, well thanks for the bashing on their prices, I have learned that trying to search for rbp kits on here and everyone saying how expesive they were. I mean, $1050 for a billit grill is a bit ridiculous, but if everyone will please take another look at my post, The money has already been spent, I want to know if anyone has had dealings with their kits (money aside)

 

Ha, well I had summit price match carId and that put it at 369 with free shipping, but thats spacers, (diff drop kit i think), and 1" blocks. so all and all its not as stupid high as their $700 nfab wanna be bars

 

Every weekend (In my 85') This one will be lucky to see a dirtroad

 

Just curious but why would you spend your money on the lift and then do research? I thought you have been doing this for a while?

#1 When I say I've been doing this for a while, Thats kinda in general, I'm used to big fing springs and big fing boggers

#2 I signed papers on the truck and drove straight to the beach with the family, I didnt even want to spend the time to call summit. I was to busy trying to be manly while sipping some kinda pink cuncaction the ol lady was making me. But I have the truck and my tires and rims are sitting in the garage awaiting bolt up. I'm way to impatiant to wait till i get home to surf the net trying to find something.

#3 I've always gone daystar on my 00 tundra, 02 tacoma and 08 chevy, wanted a change and RBP seemed like a decent company

I like living life on the edge, haha, and the chances of my strut ever seeing full droop is when I have to climp through the ditch at MCDS to get a cheeseburger. I have run spacer/leveling kits on three previous trucks and have installed them for at least 20 buddies, have never run into a problem. hard for me to jsutify spending a 1000+ bucks on the same amount of lift for a pavement pounder. If I was a baller I would cause it looks pimp nasty

 

i just went to the RBP site and didnt see any leveling kits for a tacoma, and only a lift for a tundra...where did you get this leveling kit from

Ok, you caught my eye, how much lift is that adjustable to while keeping my ride?

 

5100's are adjustable to 2.5" of lift with stock coils.

But I'm curious as well as to the kit you have bought

 

Well I guess I'll be throwing it on as long as it ain't cheesy, from what I'm seeing so far it's just an overpriced strut extension, might order the 5100's if I'm not pleased. But that .5" can make a difference. I'll give as good of detail as I can
