My truck is all set to go now. Put new tie rod heims in today. old ones were shot. Tomorrow new battery box goes in. Tired of my battery falling in the engine compartment.

Got the diode out, like picking pepper out of fly shit. Amazing how small electronic components have become.

If you fins NATO cans let me know. I have the carb ones and they are fine, only the fill spout that's lame. Believe it or not cheapest I found was 4 wheel parts, first time for everything. I would like to find a NATO water jug, pretty sure they are plastic but have same mounting provisions as other Jerry cans

I think pepboys sells plastic scepter cans for less than $20. you can avoid the spout by using a super siphon which costs less than $10. some auto part stores raise the price to about $15. they work great!

If you can buy the cans near laughlin or out of state. So you don't get any of that CARB bullshit

So having read only the first post...

Is this something I can just go the first two days to? Or are we going to be so far out in BFE that we wont get back till the 6th? The reason I ask is I have a flight on the 7th that I cannot miss. I don't want to take the chance of missing it and 3 months of work.

I would love to come out and romp with you guys, I just don't think i can commit to all 3 days. Thanks.

Here's the current list. Please add your name to this list if you are seriously going.

If you're staying in Laughlin and I missed your name, please add it. I'd like to exchange numbers with everyone so we can meet up in Laughlin. I know everyone will be arriving at different times but it would be cool if we could meet up and go out for dinner.

Saturday night we'll be camping at Beale Mountain. There are no amenities except a few fire pits. Make sure you bring some TP or baby wipes.

You can leave Saturday night if you want. At some point you can jump on the highway and head to the freeway. Others have done it in the past. Though it sounds like we're out in BFE, the 40 and 15 freeways are actually not that far from us. We cross several highways during this trip. When we get to camp Saturday, you can leave from there, get on Kelbaker Rd. and hit the 40 fwyy.

Anyone have pictures of how they packed everything in their beds in the past? Looking for good ideas on securing everything. Picked up some extra D-rings and a bed net, but I'm sure someone has some creative ideas.
