Hey Toyota Man, there might be a good answer for this question and I mean no disrespect by asking, but why dont you mass produce these eyelids and already have them for when people place an order, like a normal buisness! You have already filled 80 orders so it seems like u haven't had problems with selling these! It just sucks waiting 6 weeks for somthing just cause you dont wanna produce more at a time. Once again, im just wondering.

Fiberglass costs money. Can't manufacture an item without cash. He gets cash to produce from the previous group he sells (is what I am guessing). Whats the point of having extra parts laying around if you might not be able to sell them? Homer does the same thing with his Satoshi grills. Its simple supply and demand for a product.

 

No disrespect taken, its a legit question. First off, I would perfer to have a one week turn around on these as well. I bought the first lid and painted it to match my truck, I thought I really like that and I can't find anybody else that does this, I should see if anybody else would like to have these as well. Unfortunatly I started off with buying my lids from a vendor rather then producing them myself. I tried to order 2 groups at a time and it was crazy long to get like 6 weeks to get them. Crazy long time to wait. If I only order groups of 10 then the time dropped to 2 to 3 weeks to get them. So I have been ordering in groups of 10 to keep time down.

This is about to change. This has taken off much faster and better then I would have imagined. I have actually bought a 3200 sqft shop building and plan on bringing lid design and production in house. I am just getting the shop set up now and am looking for somebody to sell me some lights so I can make my own molds. Second reason for this building is to start producing other items I have had some interest in. That being fiberglass fenders. I am in the process of looking at incorperating lift kits, bumpers, sliders, and other Toyota Only products as things progress.

So in short, as soon as I find some lights, these will be in house and should hopefully be down to you order and I ship within a few days. Lids already painted will be waiting for those who want them.

6 weeks is listed, for that just in case senario. I usually try to get them out faster then that. Right now it is just up to how fast the supplier can get them to me.

I have that same problem! She used to not be very observent about stuff. But now any little thing I do, she see's and is like "what the hell, more stuff, really".

Eh, what can I say? Want to go out to eat? You want to go shopping with your mom this weekend? She usually forgets about my splurges then! WIN...

That's gotta be common with the wife anything comes in the mail and it's what did you get now. I left a shot of the eyelids on the iPad and she was impressed to say the least. She asks when was the last time you bought me something I say when did I get the truck hehe can you say dog house.Ohhhh just looked at the previous page and I think the shiny black ones just painted in the pic's would look good on my truck.


Just realized they are for the 12s may not look so good afterall..
