Tire gates can be added on later. Many many DIY kits available. Most fab companies charge a ton because they have to test fit it on a 2nd gen - also the reason for long lead times as many fab shops don't have 2nd gens in house. You already have the truck so the hard part is done.

Coil added a tire gate to his old bumper then I bought it used dirt cheap. Less then $500 for fully functional bumper and tire gate. All it needed was some paint TLC.

:spy: Pics later this week of mine. She is going under the knife with a local vendor for an HC. I am still debating what to do with the tire as I need the bed with tailgate down sometimes so swing out will not work. I have a few ideas but I am going to see what the Jester has to say. :spy:

my buddy's design had the swingout over by the tail light so when it's open, then gate still drops down fine...

only pic i really have of it...

Should have clarified... I sometimes haul stuff with the tailgate down to get the extra space. The swingout would not be good for that situation.

Thought about that. Like a quick release but my thinking is that it might release on a bouncy trail. We will see what the Jeste says next week when i drop it off

had a somewhat productive day on the truck...

got new rock lights moving forward with an LED strip running along the rocker panel above my sliders..pics to come at night

still need to take my old lights and spread them around...i have 4 extras now so they will focus more around the tire area

also got my ammo cans mounted up on my bed rails...this helps to free up some space in my tool box...moved my tow straps and tie down items into them for easier access..while things were open, i added some extra stickers i had around...

That storage looks awesome. I gotta get me one of those toppers. One question though I carry dirtbikes in summer, so I need an un-obstructed box during summer. Does it fold up? Or do you take it off?

Here are some pictures of the bumper mounted on the truck. Yeah I have not had a chance to get it powder coated yet, I was out of work when I got the bumper so it has not been on the priority list of getting done without and income, but when I do it I want it to be done right. I am hoping to get it to the media blaster this week and powder coating maybe next. Since these pics I have gone in and trimmed up a bit from bumper so there is clearance between the body panel and bumper as well as straight cuts on both sides.

This is the kind that his buddy built as mentioned above. This is the bumper that is actually sitting on the table it the previous picture.

You would actually be better off talking to NYCO about connecting with the guy that built it, options that you would be looking for, cost, and availability. This is one of his buddies that he got on board to start building these so I am not really sure how the pricing structure and all is working out on it. I will say this guy knows his stuff and is very easy to work with, builds them right in his garage. One of the main reasons NYCO was trying to get this going with this guy is so that we could get quality bumpers for a good price and not have to pay shipping.

You can bet on me giving updates on the non hc bumper he's going to build for me as it develops.
