09 PreRunner sr5 package Pyrite Mica color
BLU Logic, Ipod interface, storage lock box for existing storage area, debadged, new color grill, wet okole seat covers, coming a Kenwood DNX6140 radio head unit, and a Protecta bed mat
I have an 09 access cab with the sr2 package and I love it but I also am a gadget lover. Sadly the price goes up with each add on I wish I got the trd with the power outlet in the bed and also the bluetooth for the cell phone. As it is I had the dealer install the BLULogic for the cell phone so my calls come in and the radio goes off and voice comes through the radio speakers. I also had them install an Ipod interface at the same time so my Ipod works throught the steering wheel radio controls. I have since bought Okolone seat covers and a locking bed box to replace the ones that come with the truck. Seat covers are being made and the lock box is on it's way. I also would love the overhead compass and outside temp gauge but having hard time finding that. Believe it or not the prerunner comes with the temp probe and wiring to the overhead already there. Do not do what I did and kick yourself after the fact. If you can afford it and want it get it.
Congrats on the new truck mine will be 2 weeks old tomorrow and I love it. Sadly I had to use the truck bed to go to the dumps and carrying 2 five gallon cans of paint praying they would not spill. I had them so tied down using the d rings and the tie down cleats. You will love your truck.

I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
Read up on the suspension tsb threads and decide if you care. Then decide if you care enough to make it an issue before you pick up your truck. If I had known before hand I wouldn't have bought it without them doing the repair first. Or I'd be in a Frontier.

I'll chime in... It really depends on what you need the truck for. Off road? Trd package is great, but dont bother if you plan on modding the crap out of it like a lot of these guys. Dont get me wrong, I would too if I had the time and skills, but my truck will remain close to stock; so thats why I got the trd or package. Obviously $ is probably a big factor, but I think plmber has some good advice. Booo +1 on the Frontier, but if you haul a lot you will need the tsb...Good Luck!

I have an 09 4.0, I wish I would have known about the ticking issue with this engine. I would have test driven as many as I could till I found one that did not make this noise. From what I have read and been told, it is harmless and has caused no problems. Some make the noise from the beginning like mine, others start later and some never make the noise. I don't hear it as much any more, I have tuned it out (and turned the radio up).
