The TSB 4 leaf pack is crap too . If you need to haul anything in your truck look into a replacement leaf pack

An AAL would be a cheap fix while you wait for your Dakars , or Timbrens but they are probably more than you want to spend for a temp fix

Does anyone happen to know if the TSB for the Steering Shaft Rattle has been updated to include the 2011 models. The only one that I can find only goes up to 2010. I have a 2011 and it definately has a steering rattle/shake on rough or dirt roads. Of course, the dealership can't "recreate" the issue, so they aren't willing to do any type of repairs. My truck is still under warranty and I had the TSB that covers up until the 2010 models. Any help will be appreciated.

On another note, I dropped my truck off today for an oil change and to have them look into my "chirping" fan motor. I know for sure that this is covered under a TSB, so hopefully I can at least get this one fixed fairly easily.

I'm getting steering wheel rattle in a 2012. I don't think it has been updated. I had it done on my 2010 and it took care of the problem. I'm going down monday with the tsb printed up. I'm going to try and get it done along with the leaf spring tsb. I load up wood off road, so I need both done. Hopefully with enough complaints, they will include 2012 in both tsb's. Good luck;0)

So I was able to get the motor replaced on my AC / heater, so no more annoying "chirping" sound. No luck with the steering wheel shake though. Once again, they were unable to recreate the vibration. I guess the roads around the dealership are too smooth. I plan on taking it back on a regular basis though until I can get it taken care of.

I've got the windshield kazoo issue in my 2010. Anybody have luck getting the dealership to fix it? I'm just hoping the day I drop it off is dry and windy as hell...

I also have some squeak in my rear brakes and not really enough miles on my truck for there to be any issues. I didn't see a TSB on it so wondered if anyone had a similar problem.

I called toyota customer care, after getting shot down by the dealer, for the Steering Intermediate Shaft Rattle Noise TSB, on a 2012 model. The customer care representative told me the tacoma steering wheel recall, will cover this problem as well as the airbag being deactivated. The # is T-SB-0057-12. They change the spiral cable and steering shaft. I guess they decided to kill 2 birds with one stone;0) I'm still fighting on getting the leaf spring TSB to include 2012 models. Got shot down on that as well. I had it done on my 2010 model and it worked for me. I have an open case for now.
