I don't think you will have any problems with the law if you do. I had mine off for awhile until I got sick of my sliders getting tons of rock chips. I have since just trimmed them.

 

you can take off all the mudflaps if you want to. its not really required, it just depends what kind of cop you get behind you, if he's and ass or not, I've had tons of cops behind me and haven't gotten pulled over, well i have once but in highway its a little more strict. my set up is really out there im 6inches of lift with spacers no mudflaps and my tire sticks out half way of the wheelwell

I believe the answer is yes. I just had my inspection yesterday and they only looked for rear mud flaps.

 

Yea I have had no front mud flaps on my taco for the last 4 years and no problems with the cops or geting it inspected

 

Have any of you installed a KN or other intake kit and was there actually any difference being up this high?

 

I have the TRD intake, it gave a little better throttle response and some good sound under the hood. Was it worth the pile of cash, probably not.

 

It was me!! I was working up in ogden at the freeport center about two weeks ago haha. yeah, my TW sticker is huge.

Haha yeah, I wasn't planning on going that big with the sticker but the guy at the mall somehow described it differently. So when I came back after about 20 minutes to pick the sticker up, I was like holy crap that's massive! But, at least there're no doubts as to whether or not I'm a TW member lol.

I have my lift coming for my new Tacoma. Hope to have it this weekend, but likely Monday. I ordered the Icon stage 1 extended travel kit, Total Chaos UCA's and Dakar leaf packs. Im hoping to do the install myself, but I really havent done anything like this before. It looks like the UCA's are a pain to get off because of the lenth of one of the bolts. Is there anyone that can help me out with the install that has done this before themselves? I live in Riverton.

 

I changed my own shocks and springs for the front, but that's all for the suspension so far

 

So after I put my lift on, I went to check the alignment at Big 0 Tires. (on antelope drive) While that was done I decided to check on the prices for some wheels. (American outlaw buckshots black). I have them on order from discount, but they wont be here until two more weeks. Anyways they price them at $185 a piece and I thanked him, said that discount had hooked me up with $105 and left. However, in my mind I was thinking: "oh good thing we're at an auto shop so you can lube me up before you f**k me."

 

Go to firestone for an alignment. $169.99 for a lifetime alignment as long as you own the truck. Get it 3 times and it's paid for

 

I hate that Big O!!! They have done/said a few things and I will never take any of my vehicles there again. Discount tire gets my bussiness. I really like the one on north Hillfield across from Maverick. They are really cool, couple of them have Tacomas. They dont do allignments though, i went to les shwabb. I will be getting the lifetime allignment from firestone next time I go wheeling and knock it out of allignment

 

Yeah I have my wheels and tires on order from discount there on hill field. (I bought some Michelins from them for my exploder when I first got here). I've only got good things to say about them, plus the lifetime rotation etc.. is awesome.

 

thats better than Sears. they have a six month warranty for $70 or something. I have my lift going on tuesday with new tires and wheels. this will come in handy.

 

Do any of you local guys need a seat Cover to replace a jacked up or torn one? I just finished my Katzkin leather install and I am going to throw away the cloth seats and head rests, but figued id see if anyone needed a relacement piece.
