I figured I might as well do it right the first time...while I am single too. The ride is AWESOME. It is so tight compared to what it was like before. I actually chewed up the mud flaps on the front. One side actually had worn all the way through. I also had to remove the small flaps in front of the wheel too. I have the Taco lean that is causing some nasty rubbing. I need to adjust the drivers side up an half inch. the alignment was off on that side too, I am assuming because of the lean. I bought the life time alighnment at Firestone Auto care for $190 out the door, which will pay for itself in the next month once the suspension settles a bit and I get the 1/2 inch increase on the drivers side.

Access Limited tonneau cover and Pop n'lock is in the mail right now. After taxes are taken care of, I'll order the Weathertech digitals front and rear, weathertech window visor things and maybe two of their license plate frames to keep the plates looking good.

I want to get some Beefed Taco sliders made for the DCLB. He has talked about making them for a while, but he is so busy with orders that I dont think he has time for product development. I've also want to get him to develop a tube rear bumper that wont require removing the factory bumper. kind of like a cage that contours and wraps around the bumper. he did one for a 4 runner that I thought looked wicked.



Id like something like this, but have it continue to wrap around. I was rear ended twice in my last car...hoping for some protection for this truck.

I also want to do a light bar. The avid light bar is cool, but I'd like something similar but different. there is something about Beefed's (?) sliders that I love.


I'd love to take one of these sliders and bend it around the front end and make a lightbar out of it somehow. He also has some cool looking skid plates. Alot of stuff I'd like would be applied from other models to the 2nd gen. We will see if he can work it in to his schedule.

I have. He is a tough one to get on the phone, but that is only because he is so dedicated to the orders he has on hand. I sent him some photo's that I drew some of the product ideas with a sharpie. I havent been able to talk to him since. I should follow up with him.

He's been hesitant on the DCLB sliders because the rear attach point is weird on the longer frame. He didnt seem to sure how to design it in that area. I'll follow up with him.

 

yea he definitely is a hard guy to get in touch with. i was talked to him today about the cb drop kits. he's definitely a good guy.
