Just went to my local home depot picked up some wire cable and a lock so I can add a little security to my bed when I go tailgating. Pretty cheap too about $40 bucks total. Just wrap it through everything and lock it back up to the d-ring lot easier than replacing the handle on the truck bed plus I keep my back up camera.

    As promised....

Also installed a Rosen head unit and Sirius SCC1.
Install was pretty painless, unit is okay, going to be a bit of a learning curve as any new HU is.

Trying to activate the Sirius and I can't get it to channel 184... all I'm getting is 255. Drove it around for a half hour, not sure what's up.

Made my tailgate less easy to steal. Cleaned it inside and out. Cleans my maf.

Need to grab some spark plugs and air filters. Is the secondary air filter replaceable?

Should never need to be replaced since it's on the "clean" side of the air filter.

But no, it's not replaceable. It is plastic-welded onto pins in the airbox lid.

They look dirty when brand new.
They are filled with activated charcoal.

Well when I tap it dust comes off.. It's the same color as my air filter. Dust coloured. It worries me I can't replace it.

If you don't have smog checks, or if your smog inspections are not detailed, just rip the thing out.

Remove the airbox cover from the engine compartment so no plastic debris gets into the engine, and use a knife or Dremel to cut/grind the nibs that retain it.

We don't have any sort of smog inspections here... :) Is it more for emissions than air cleaning? My truck is seriously low on torque and power, I need to fix it. No supercharged though
