Do these cover up the old gouges from the factory flaps?

I just put mine on this weekend. Overall they fit well and are GREAT. I plan to do a full write up with pics in a day or so (can't do it right now). They cover up nearly all of the gouges. Up near the top, I can still see a thin white line where my old ones dug in. (More on the rear than the front). It really is barely noticeable though. In reality, I could still see SOME of the scratches with the old ones too. Just in different spots.

The fit on these is great. Not a CHANCE I would spend nearly $100 each for the factory flaps....

I just removed OEM front flaps as my new tires were rubbing badly. Now I've noticed this nice alternative, however I'm not too sure if these will solve my problem.

Does anyone have pics of 265/75/16 on stock suspension with these on? My wheels also have 4.5bs. I'm reluctant to buy a set if they will still rub.

Here are my current pics with OEM's on and off the truck. You can see the two rub marks. Can anyone that has them comment what they think for fitment in my case? I read they are better contoured than OEM's. Thanks.

Btw. I got the nice paint line like most and I wasnt able to salvage any of the plastic clips. :(

    With OEM flaps or husky?

Mine rubbed bad with OEM's. Could not park into any parking stall without rubbing. It actually rubbed while makeing a turn in regular driving, slow speed or from a stop. Now they are off and no rub, but would want to have some sort of mud flaps on.

Damn, actually it still rubbed very little here and there with just driving around town without front mudflaps. These Geolandars are 31.9, some other 265/75/16 are between 31.6 or 31.7. I guess that makes a difference too. I will just have to wait until they wear down a bit. I may still pick up these huskys and sell my OEM flaps. At least this way I don't have to trim them which was on my list to do. I will put them on for winter as we don't salt our roads instead put gravel, mud flaps are a must for me. I will be puting them on the truck for winter and taking them off for summer as I have stock size blizzaks for winter which obviously don't rub. :frusty:

I broke all the plastic clips, but hopefully they will hold ok with just those three screws. Either OEM's or Huskys.

Btw. (for Canadians) emailed Husky and shipping would be $5 to Alberta for the box. Either fronts only or fronts and rears. Same price.

Does anyone have a pic of their truck with front Husky mud flaps and OEM rear mud flaps?

I assume this price is still good. Do these come with the hardware to mount if you don't have factory flaps? I read the whole thread and I read something about sticky tape but I don't trust that to adhere these forever. I think my truck has some plugs there so maybe those are what I need when I take them out? I need to look closer but this is a great option and I like the facts that they made these for us, are made in the USA and are taking care of us on the price and customer service. These look much better than the OEM ones that cost more IMO.

I emailed her today and she said the price is still good and to give her a call to order them. In the picture on page 2 post 38, there looks to be a small bag with screws in it to mount with. I will be calling tomorrow and getting a set for the front and back, I am tired of scraping my fronts on curbs and small ruts

Edit: lol looks like I'll be waiting till Monday...

    Hours: M thru F, 8AM to 5PM CST.

I just received a set of fronts and rears. They have mounting hardware included and a tape which you can use to protect paint on the edge of the fender. Too late for me as I already have a nice mark on both sides from factory flaps.

They still rub tiny bit with my wheels (4.5bs, 265/75/16 on stock height) but less than with OEM flaps. Oh well, I will keep them for winter with my TRD set of wheels and stock size tires.

They are shorter than OEM's, and appear to be same quality if not better. I think you can't go wrong with these especially for the price. +1 for Husky.
