Just turns out that way

 

I guess it is a question of perspective. In the Sharks, I see a team that has had relatively high expectations for a number of years(back to the Ron Wilson years even). Many believe they have failed to Reach them. Is this choking? The Canucks made it to game 7 of the finals last year before losing. Is that choking? Some say yes, some say no. I say getting to game 7 of the final is impressive. Only 2 teams get there out of an entire league, and they are often pretty beat-up by the time they do.

 

That's kinda my point. Only 1 team wins the cup and 15 teams that make the playoffs don't. Hell, nearly half of NHL teams have never won the Stanley Cup. Sharks just seem to get pegged as the team that always 'chokes'. Whatever.... I just keep rooting for 'um until they lose and then go drink heavily.

 

the Crapitals are also the poster child for choking... were is Ovi's cup?

Ha amen to that. We have been in the playoffs how many yrs in a row now? N keep chokinggg. I'll stay true till the day I die to my team, but I hope we don't go another 20 yrs with out the cup like the Canucks. I'll either drink my pain away or drink in celebration. Either way I'm getting hammered.

 

The Sharks aren't getting past the Blues , call it whatever you want

Haha it'll be a rough few days with no hockey on but at least I can still play hockey

 

I agree , but I think the Flyers are going to take out the Pens in 7

 

It'll be a tough series and I wouldn't be surprised if it went to 7 but I think the pens will move on.

 

I play in 2 hours. Wednesday I leave to Europe for 2 weeks. What games I can find will be on it 4 or 5 in the morning.....fuuuuuuuuckk. Gonna miss the entire first round pretty much

 

I got a game in 2 1/2 hours.. Its our division championship too

 

i would be surprised to see the Pens lose.
