Not a good weekend for me in the desert

well I got a new airbag, cover and the wiring harness for 187 shipped from ebay. That link that was posted yesterday from that company airbag pros is who I got it from.

damn i forgot to tell you i have the clockspring connector plugs...i would have just gave them to you my bad...

 

aw oh well..9.99 aint bad, but I appreciate the thought. Do I need anything else besides those two items to fix the whole airbag situation? Didn't someone say the sensors in the front need to be replaced?

 

from what ive seen, there are times that those sensors just "send" the signal to release the airbag and theyre not damaged...try installing the new airbag and wires.

also, there are times that the clockspring goes bad from the airbag deploying im not too sure about it

 

please dont get knocked out installing the new airbag

 

oh I wont be doing the install. I just think I can find better prices than what toyota will offer. I was really thinking the price for the airbag alone would be more expensive.

Yup, I called the air bag place and they said it has to be replaced so I bought one from them as well..only 9.99

 

atleast your trucks the only thing thats hurt, i broke my back at glamis this past weekend :/ not fun
