110%. No air cleaning at all... the air is supposed to be clean by the time it gets there. It is activated charcoal and is there to absorb any fuel/oil vapors that backflow from the intake after shutdown.
Upon restart, they are drawn back into the intake as they evaporate from the filter.

    None yet
I have a 2012 4-door short bed. I added a SnugTop canopy and am now in the process of trying to seal all of the water/dust leaks in the bed of the truck. Has anyone already done this and have a list of what to do and how to do it?

I went to my local Napa auto parts to try and buy three plugs for the three drain holes at the front end of the bed, but they didn't have anything that would work. I figure that I will apply some weather stripping at the rear end of the bed to seal to the bottom of the tailgate when it closes. Any advice on a weather strip that will hold up?

I figure on using clear silicone chaulk on the various other crack and holes.

Is it possible to seal this baby up? Lack of a steel bed is the only complaint that I have on an otherwise perfect truck.

    Thanks for your help.

I don't know if it's possible/worth doing. If you put a 26" inner tube in between the windows of the cab & shell, open the windows and turn your fan up you can create positive pressure so air will blow out the holes and it will stay pretty clean in the back.

Someone has also "piped" the 'pressure equalizer' vent from the back of the cab into the bed.

Mine leaks only around the tailgate and even then, not much. So unless I were putting a carpet kit or something else like it in, I wouldn't bother about it much.

Just make sure the shell is sealed with a good quality foam tape.

Got a chance to see my Taco's future. I took it over to Relentless Fabrications because Eric wanted to get some pics for skid install instructions.
The hard part was taking the skids back off and putting the tin can skid back on the front.:(
He also took measurements for slider mounts. I can't wait to place my order with him for skids & sliders. All I need now is more $$$.

Rugged ridge isolator kit.
Just got my 4xInnovations sliders from Adam on Saturday. Great quality! Very excited to get them welded on. Now have to locate a local welder.

Question for those that have sliders...is it more common to weld them on flat or angled up as close to the body as possible while still allowing the doors to open (obviously). Pros/Cons?

Picked up a Leer top and got my Mickey Thompson Classic Locks installed. May go with the aluminum ring in the future, but still undecided. Guess I can sell my 1.25" Spidertrax spacers that I had on the front and rear now...

No money, all went to truck...

EricT, how did those bars mount? Would it be possible to mount racks like those crossbars did?

The reason I ask is I have a bakflip that block the bedrails. I want to mount racks.
