Painting Side view mirrors

anyone out there paint there side view mirrors lately?
I want to get the specs.

 

I plan on getting them this summer. What you need to know?

 

i want to know if people have had success taking their mirrors off and painting them, rather than doing the vinyl wrap.

 

i painted mine about 3 months ago with dupicolor and its holding up well. its not as glossy are factor but close enough for me. you wouldnt be able to tell unless you were looking for it

do this then do as the can tells you

 

Look for salvage sport model mirrors. They are already painted.

 

X2 but I colored matched and clear coated mine including the handles and bumper it's been like 4 months and they are holding strong
