Okay..so here is the issue..Im driving home, everything is fine. im bout to turn left so i signal left with my blinker and the dash beep makes noise as if my key was in the ignition with doors open  wth!! so i ignored it. same thing taking another left?? so i stop at home, leave the engine running, turn on my signal right and no sound. Signal left and dash beep going again. Hopped out and its not my bulbs, front and tail is working. Its only when my left turn signal is on. Asked a few of my friends and none of them herd of this in their life. So if anybody can help me or know whats up, post up. I will really appreciate it. Feel free to ask me questions too. THANKS!!!

Sounds like an issue with the multifunction switch? Possibly a short.

When it beep does it do it the entire time your foot is on the brake? (Brake on 10 seconds, beep beep beep...) or (Brake on 10 seconds single Beep)? Same for the turn signal? Does it go beep beep beep every time the blinker blinks?

Hmm. This is pure speculation but it does sound like some sort of short. I'll do some hunting around on the net and see if I can find a more definitive answer for ya.

Man I scoured the internet last night and today and couldn't find anyone with this problem. The only thing I'd say to do would be to take it to a dealer and see if they'll just look at it for free or a small charge. I wouldn't pull the buzzer, that might just mask a possible problem that could become worse over time leading to a more costly repair. Sorry I couldn't help much. :(

I would start with the turn signal on reminder circuit and look for a short, etc. I would also research the timer that tells the reminder when to chime, is it solid state or is it in the computer, etc. If solid state, i'd say it could be faulty...if in the computer, i'd suspect faulty relay, short, or computer issue.

Disconnect battery for 15 minutes then re-connect and see if go's back to normal...just some suggestions..good luck

If you have trailer wiring, check there. Especially at the 7 wire socket. Shorting between the left signal/brake pin and the reverse light pin will make the "reverse" beep work when it shouldn't. I'm talking about the one normal beep that happens when you shift into reverse on the 6 spd.

If no trailer wiring, check your tail light wiring harness for any sign of rubbing or damage, especially the left side.

Glad I foud this! Im having the same problem, but I think it may be from the shoddy stereo install job (previous owner)

anyone have a write up on how to take the dash apart?

Im getting the same Dash Beep and think i may have a "roach" as well...

YES! Finally! I've been having the same issues. I didn't think about looking at the trailer harness. Thats the first thing im doing when I get off work. Makes so much sense. Fingers crossed I don't have to go wire hunting under the dash.
