    Hey guys,

Alright so i'm new here. After ALOT of searching and comparing I think i finally chose the lift I'm looking for. I was looking at drop bracket kits at first (Fabtech 6'' & Tuff Country 5"), but I only want to run 33's and really drop brackets are more for looks then beating in the Trails IMO. So this ultimate lift for my tacoma looks like it might do the trick. Couple of questions.

    1. Any one running this kit? Pictures?
    2. If I crank them to 3'', will I be able to run a 33x12.5 tire? I plan on using my stock rims for now. Imput? (this is a biggie. I don't want to go under a 33'' tire so I want to make sure this lift can handle them.)
    3. I will get the kit with the full new OME leaf pack instead of AAL or anything like that. However i'm unsure about the front coils. Should I go with light (500lb) or Med (600lb) coils. I plan on adding a bummper and winch on my truck down the road...might only be in a year's time though. How will the Med coils affect my ride and performace if it's only stock weight for now?

Haha my friends are getting fed up with me on this lift thing. When I do something I want to do it right, hence not going for the much cheaper coil spacers or something like that.

    Thanks for any help.

I just pieced together my own lift and it just so happens to be everything in that ultimate kit. I didn't have a choice of coils tho so I can't help you there. Like any higher weight rated coil, ride will get stiffer. If you're adding the bumper and winch, probably a good idea to go with Med.

So far it's been awesome on and off road. PM member Neubs and he might be able to get you a deal.

I've attached a before and after. Hope it helps.

I got the coilovers, but a AAL in the rear. But I love the shocks they ride great, you shouldnt have any issues with running a heavy bumper with these. If they sag a little you can just crank them up to adjust for the weight. You should be able to run that size tire, only if you get wheel spacers or new wheels with a 4" or less back spacing.
Here are some pics of them!:D

Nice looking taco. How much do you have those cranked up? Any CV problems since you've been running the lift? I think you're right about needing wheel spacers for those tires, i might check into 10.5 ones. I'm thinking of going with the Med coil's, it's only another 100lbs difference so i can't see it being too stiff even without extra weight on the front.

    Thanks for the reply.

Im at 3" lift. I had a spacer lift before and didnt like the ride, so I got these. No cv problems, I had a small leak on the inners but got it taken care of. Ofcourse I have the diff. drop kit.... highly recemended if you go 3".

I was at 3" when i first set it. I'll have to re-check now they're broken in. I have the diff drop too, no problems at all. My wheels are stock 265/70/16. I'll be going with 32/1150/15s soon.

Yep! pretty smooth! Just remember to disconect the sway bar so that your suspension can fully droop. Bc the coilovers are a bit longer then stock. But thats about it!

Def. check them! mine went down almost 1/2"
My front measures 38-3/4" or 7/8" from the ground, although I have 285/75/16.

Yeh I was wondering about that to... once these start to "sag" i might run into trouble with my 33's. Are they hard to ajust once it is on the truck?

I also see that you have aftermarket UCA's. I've heard that I might not be able to align the front with stock UCA's if I go 3'' or higher. Heard anything like this before?

yep! I had stock UCA's for awhile. Les Schwab got really close to spec and I didnt notice it, until a little while later it started to wonder and pull a little. So I decided to get them so I didnt have any issues. But I would maybe run you're stock UCA's first to see how they do, you might not have any issues. Your camber will def. be off a little, but just dont go higher then 3" lift.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Ideally you want 4" to clear 33's but people are clearing 33's w/ 3" of lift and some minor trimming for full lock. Anytime you adjust your coilovers you may need to consider a re-alignment.
