**Update: Houston Area Meet**

I never hear surfside having issues like that, i know crystal beach have that issues alot thats why you pay a lil fee to get in! slp is okay only thing is that current and under toe there is very bad! other then that its a great place for meet/greet/grill, also there is a some what of a trail for 4x4 not for me though i'm 4x2, but good hills, inclines, etc.!
surfside is a great place as well, either the jetty's or the beach there is great, at the jetty's there is a picnic area which has access to the beach as well.

 

I'm glad there are going to be fellow fisherman with me at this taco meet!

 

going towards Jamaica Beach up along the beach front there is camping allowed, just an fyi thats on the other side of slp going towards galveston!

 

Yes sir! I try not to get carried away with my fishing cause i tend to stay put in the water most of the day when i go fishing hahaha!

 

Depending the mood i'm in once the date get closer i might tariler my dirt bikes with me as well don't know, can't do both too much shit to clean afterwards! lol

I'm down for fishing I generally fish the bays tho with my yak!

 

I still fish in the yak, just last year i sold my ocean yak and realize renting from Austin Canoe & Kayak for 45 bucks you cant beat that. they even give you straps, the trailer hitch deal to carry the yak as well, granted its so much fun when you hook up a shark some big fish is awesome!

that shooting was cause of that kapa flapa shit, where all the people were black(african America if your gonna be offended) going to surfside beach causing all sorts of crap. most of them were hanging out the window screaming at each other and acting stupid. i was leaving surfside beach when i saw the line coming in and every single car was "african american" it was ridiculous. I heard they used to go to galveston, but galveston kicked them out. Surf Side needs to do the same and kick them out.

 

And I hope they do. Galveston (in my opinion) is a shitty beach (in comparison to Surf Side) and the people in and around surf side are incredibly kind, and to themselves. They don't need all that ego bullshit around the area. No beach should have to be shut down, and no one club should take over any beach due to size.

I was also there that weekend, luckily I was far away and didn't encounter any of it.
