I'd love to eventually modify my All-Pro rack to be more robust like this, with the handles and crossbars ... I just got it welded together so no more crappy bolts :D

Ya, gotta give up some capability for comfort. These Tacos do pretty darn well though. Last month my Taco had a big smile in Truckhaven when I picked a nasty line on really steep incline and my buddy in an early Bronco couldnt make it up behind me, he has an open front diff and it just couldnt hang on.

No sweat, we'll take a look at Mojave and see what can be done. The bolts are lame, I think I have to go that route too to avoid freight only shipping, we'll see, still a little ways out

They were just something I made but I guess I could make some more up. They dont mount on the rail, you drill holes to mount them. The locking knobs are from a bike rack for a car roof or something, the other knob is from McMaster.

Would anyone be interested in a 3 point "Y" strap from this company? They have a cool product.

    http://www.lockstraps.com/

I talked to the owner and I'm going to head up there next week and we are going to put something together. Just seeing if I can tell him there is interest if he makes more.
