You can camp on the Blue Ridge Parkway, which isn't far, at the Julian Price Park...not sure if it's open this time of year, let me check...Yeah, just looked it up, they're closed through May 10.

Personally, I'd just day trip it. You can ride everything out there in a day (and that's with stopping to play on all the harder bypasses). Meet at the wal-mart in Lenoir around say 10 AM, wheel til whenever, drive home. Lurry and I have gotten 3-4 truck groups through there in 5 to 6 hours before, and that's at a leisurely pace.

Mostly mixed rock dirt trail with several bypasses onto low-traction hill climbs and into creek runs. There's one section of creek that's about a quarter mile long that's particularly nice.

Also, if you go on the Tubes and search for "Richland Gap", you can find a shit ton of clips from a trip we made out there last spring. Give you an idea of the place.

Sundays work fine for me. I haven't checked with bigfoot, but I'll throw him a text. You got any idea when abouts?

Sometime in feb maybe, towards the end would be better for me.

Might try to get a few more trucks, a group of about 5 or so would be nice.

That'd work. All the hard stuff is optional and the main trail is pretty tame, much like URE, so slightly larger groups aren't a problem.

We'll talk a lil closer to the date.

    *Update*

Ordered a new set of tires today, they'll be put on thursday. Went with 33/10.50/15 BFG KM2's. I originally planned to get the MT/R's w/Kevlar but couldn't bring my self to spend that kind of money on just tires. Probabaly going to order a winch and somemore things with the few hundered I saved. Might take a trip to UF one sunday to try them out.

KM2s are excellent tires. You will be pleased.

We still need to get out to Richland.

Pics will be thursday. Probably superwinch LP8500, with syn. line.

Winch is $299 on Amazon with great reviews.

Yes, I haven't wheeled it in a while. Should try and go one sunday soon.
