We should meet earlier so that we can make it to Walmart by 8 so we can roll with the rest of the guys. Maybe 7? That should b enough time to get over to Walmart.

I think it should be broken down to the type of trails guys/gals are comfortable with.

There are 3 main type of trails at HH.
GREEN - Easiest trails: great for first timers looking to get their feet muddy.

    BLUE - Moderate trails
: Very doable even with a stock Tacoma with a little driving skill. Although lifted with good tires is recommended.

BLACK - Difficult trails: follow Jerry at your own risk:eek:. Narrow and steep terrain expected.

HH does provide a nice colored map which is very easy to follow as the roads all mostly labeled. Stick to the color coded trails and no one should really run into trouble. As always, just use common sense and you'll have a blast.

I'm thinking that most will fall into the BLUE trails so this group might have to split into 2.

Prerunners can hit most of the Blue trails and a stock 4x4 can hit a lot of the black trails.

Yup, most of the trails are pretty tame depending on the mud/corrosion.

I'm sure the trucks themselves are very capable, but its all about how comfortable the drivers are. Plus you would/could do things with a stock truck that I wouldn't try, LOL.

My first time out there, all stock, I got bored of the green trail real quick. I spent of my time on the blue trails. Second time around, I got more comfortable and hit a couple of the black trails. Of course, I ended up backing out of some as well:eek:.

this is going to be epic. More so if the FJ guys come too, Toyota Day at HH.

on a side note, the black trails there, anyone have ideas on if my truck make it? It's a DC Long Bed so it's as long as a Chevy suburban. I am running armor ( bumpers/sliders ), but only have a front skid. I am also running a ARB rear locker.

Jason do you still have 4runner floor mats? If so, could you bring them to Hollister?

Last time we were there and it had rained the DCLB guys were only having trouble on some tight turns, but not really an issue. You should be fine.
