Calling penetrating lube experts! Poor Man's Rust Check.

Does anyone know of a product like WD40, triflow, pb blaster, etc that will creep and keep my frame rust free? Also something to spray in wheel wells to keep mud from sticking so much. I know some mud will stick but it might be worth a shot!

Some people have told me that WD40 actually attracts moisture and rust. What do the penetrating lube experts have to say?

 

It's not a penetrating lube but its pretty cheap

I did not know rust check was available in consumer type quantities. Very cool. Just assumed it was kinda like the big names in spray in bed liners, where you had to take it to someone.

 

I use the aerosol sized rust check to spray my truck, but fluid film would be a suitable replacement as well.

I will admit that Fluid Film attracts dirt. But definetely not water

 

ATF fluid especially something like Mobil 1 ATF. You won't be able to paint or weld that thing in the future but it will not rust either.

 

They sell spray cans of Rust Check at Canadian Tire, usually takes two cans to do the entire underside of the truck.
