Just watched the third installment of your adventure documentation. I really liked it, interesting challenges to face. Driving in the snow sucks; its like mud but cold :( I'll bet the drive was really pretty though. I used to live outside of Portland, OR and I really like the look of a snow blanketed forest.

Do you all have any idea when the next episode will air?

Great job guys - I'm sure you are all having a blast. I would like to echo the comments of another user about a walk-around of your vehicles, highlighting important modifications. I would like this for the knowledge and opinion; an advertisement for your sponsors would be an added benefit.

Thanks for keeping up with this thread!

Holy crap, speaking of the bike...that section where you spent what an hour, 2, hot wiring the bike because of a "kick stand sensor"!! What an over complicated pile of crap! For a dual sport bike that is made to hit trails that appeared to be a MASSIVE liability for something as unnecessary as telling you the kickstand was down. Less is more for a bike that will undoubtedly get damaged. I would be furious if I got stranded for something like that.

Other than that bad ass video! Didn't know that over land trail was out there and might be something our little crew looks into doing next time we were down there. It also would have been cool to show a few clips of you guys doing some of the popular trails a lot of average wheeling folks do while out there, but that's just a personal thought.

Great videos saved up and watched 3/4 together. I think the guy at the gas station was saying all 4 wheels chained up and prepair to take it slow! Awesome adventure hope all is well. Hope your making one long movie of it all.

It took about 20 -30 minutes. And alot of that was waiting for the thing to cool down because the exhaust and specifically CAT is right in that general area. The time looked to take a bit longer as it was just getting dark. Every street bike that has been made for a long time has had to have a side stand switch. My 83 Yamaha Seca has one, and to be very honest, I have had far, far more problems with that one, granted, it is a 30 year old bike :D.

The only thing more complicated about this one was it has 3 wires instead of 2, so I just had to figure out which 2 to use, apparently the 3rd one isn't used, and its working fine. I did try not to just start cutting into the harness, as I like to keep that stuff clean, so It took me a bit longer to Still hot wired as a matter of fact :)

Here is a video we did a year ago, this was shot on White Rim and Fins and Things: The cruiser was still really basic at this point, but that is what projects are!

    http://vimeo.com/24529143

Anyway, sorry for the rant! I just get a bit defensive when it comes to the bike!

Im really glad you guys are enjoying it and thanks for the input!!!

Ha, sorry for shooting down the bike, I didn't mean to be negative. Didn't know it was just 3 wires, and looked a lot more complicated than it was.

I just watched the first EP of One Car too Far... Wow...

One scene they are cutting up their seat-belts to make a climbing harness, the next scene the are pulling 100' of rope out of their trunk...

I do understand that its hard filming editing and making everything work and entertaining, but come on, its the DISCOVERY channel!!!!

    Rant over....

We just got a teaser up for EP5

    its at https://vimeo.com/48402041

    Hope you like it!!!
