Maybe at the beginning of the season. That'll end quickly, though.

It'll be a while before either of our teams are relevant again. Saban is gonna smack y'all around recruiting wise as long as he is there and y'all's coaching staff has imploded. Mississippi State has an excuse for being bad at football, it's Mississippi State

Seems to me Satan is smacking everyone around in recruiting. I'm making no bold predictions, by any means, but Auburn played more true freshman than any other team in the country (except maybe Texas) last year, lost 38 kids from championship squad. And "I" believe our coaching staff is much stronger than before, Cam made Malzhan look like a genius, but his smoke and mirror crap had run it's course. Ted Roof was a fucking joke, his defenses were the three worst years in Auburn football history. Van Gorder is solid I think, well see.

Valid points, but do you expect another championship any time soon? I do think the Aub-MSU game to be more of a defensive showing than that shootout last season. Should be an evenly matched game too.

I didn't expect that one!!! I think the game between AU and MSU will be a lower scoring affair, for two reasons, one being AU "should" have a better defense, the other, is the offense that is being installed, more ball control. What did MSU score, 34? Hell, Utah State scored 38, there as not been a defense on the field since Tubby left.

Yeah, but MSU offense was crap last season. That bum Relf is gone, don't get me wrong, he was great at running the option, but he couldn't handle pressure and was as bad as Jordan Jefferson with passing. Our offense should be quicker this year and we'll have a steady passing game. We had injuries on our o-line, so both teams should be improved, it just matters who ends up being better. We'll see. Y'all have a tougher schedule this season, so even if your team is better over all, you may end up with a worse record.

    Dyer didn't leave "just because"

The AU/TSUN match up will determine who finishes last in the west

With that being said, I'll see yall Sept. 8 (in starkville)

I'll say nothing else on the topic. No reason to argue over the internet.

AJ Green even made Joe Cox look like a real quarterback. We need another WR like him. I thought Malcolm Mitchell was gonna be the next AJ, but if I'm not mistaken they moved him to DB...at least to start the season considering we don't have a secondary for the first 2 or 3 games.

WHY CAN'T IT BE COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON????!!!!

Because we aren't playing UGA this season, we're playing Tennessee. True MSU has to play in T-Town and Death Valley but those are the only two tough games they travel for. Y'all are starting the season against Clemson. MSU has no big out of conference opponents this year.
