That track's cleaning up nicely. Did you just pull all the weeds out by hand or whut?

Just got back from a nice bash at the park. Found a really good area with a mix of clay/gravel/asphalt/and short half-dead grass from where they're building new baseball fields. These Trenchers are just awesome on any surface. Definitely a very, very good tire for bashers. They worked better on my track than my gladiators did when they were fresh, too.

Carnage for the day appears to be stripped ball cups. Just on the rear left, though. I filled them with tire glue and put them back together a bit tighter and they still didn't really hold together. I need to quit dicking around and just upgrade. Also, somehow my spur gear is missing a chunk out of it. For some reason my motor and pinion keep creeping just a little bit closer to my spur gear. I guess I just need to stock up on extra spur gears and make sure my motor screws are good and tight?

^^Been thinking about a crawler, myself...

Also.. Just ordered a 5800mah 45 2S Gens Ace and a 1600mah 3S for my controller. Gonna do the lipo mod. :goingcrazy:

Planning on going to the LHS tomorrow or wednesday and getting some ballcups and extra spur gears.

Bobcat, (well, the Case equivalent). After we sprayed a butt load of commercial weed/grass killer on it (comes from the Co-Op, we mix it twice as strong as recommended) and gave it a couple of days to take effect. Now, the work starts, shaping the jumps and berms, gonna cut that tree down on the back stretch tomorrow. Was posed to go out this evening, but a couple of the fellows bailed. Needs rain, some of that dirt is like power.

I need to hit mine with weed killer and replace some dirt that's been roosted out of place. It'd be a helluva lot easier if I had a little tractor or bobcat.

Do you know if they have an actual shop or is it just a warehouse? They really aren't too awful far from where I live.

He doesn't work there anymore, but we've got a 55 gallon drum of weed killer. :D I need a sprayer for the fourwheeler. I've already got the container thing it's about 20 gallons or so. I could fill it with water to keep the dust down, too.

Wow this thread isn't getting much action, lately.

I went to my LHS and picked up some RPM HD ballcups (purple was all they had... ) and lunsford turnbuckles (Spent too much damn money.) Stopped by a place where the lake has gone down considerably and had a nice bash session. Friend of mine got a good little bit of video. I'll try to throw it all together into something and upload it soon.

Still loving these trenchers. After several hard packs through the truck they're holding up great. I'll post some pics after I get my smartphone situation straightened out.

Yep. Normally I would warn, "Stay off blacktop!!" but I've really tortured these tires and they continue to laugh at me. Are you gluing them onto old wheels? If so watch the outside bead carefully. It can be deceitful.

I bought some split six bead-locs to put them on, didnt wanna deal with the glue and wanted to be able to change tires when ever I want to.

Yeah, I figured I would be kicking myself if I did not go the beadloc route.

Do those really work now? I know the old ones were a fucking joke, heavy (lots of rotating mass) and still would sling out and break the bead. I just guessed with the ultra powered motors out there now, they didn't have a chance.

They are pretty good. I don't know how they were back then but the proline short course beadlocks are designed to accept the proline tire beads. They hold up good for me and a lot of people put a couple dabs of silicone and that helps with not breaking the bead.
