    theres mostly desert but the sand usually isnt super soft (depends on where you go). probably the best place is called "rio puerco" or "southern". theres hundreds of miles of open trails and depending on where in abq you live it can either be a 40 min drive or it can be your back yard. dont know of many mountain or rocky trails though

    Tons of both! :D Plenty of desert running or rock crawling oppotunities at Rio Puerco, also some some more forest trail running if you go north or east as well... las cruces has some EPIC trails. There's stuff all over new mexico! :cool:
