    on the last GB for these struts the same ? came up about the ez dwn strut for tailgate,it was confirmed then and I got an email from Brian @ redline tuning he assured me that this will work on models from 05-12,I just pm'd a couple of members that were in the last GB and they have 11's with the tailgate strut just waiting to get reply to see if they had any issue with install or if they are running into issue's after install,will continue to search to see if anyone from last GB has a 12 that got the tailgate strut. Will update info as I get it.

    nope no problem at all. my tidbit of advise is go out and get a GOOD set of torx wrenches. not the cheap wally world ones, they will round off or round out the bolt on your tailgate you have to take off. it is a booger to get to break loose but onece you get it you are good to go. the tailgate will be a bit harder to latch and first open cuz of the cable being wedged in there but its no biggie but make sure you pay attention to how the cable folds when you close the tailgate. it has to go to the outside of the little piston or else everything will bind and then you get a kink in your cable that messes it up from goin in the right place. any more questions just ask.

    Thanks for everyone's patience,Brian from Red line once again assured me ,that his website has not been updated yet but the ez dwn tailgate strut will work on 05-12,I should have the price of the ez down discount price and combo price either later tonite or 2morrow.     How are the quantity totals actually tabulated? If one person wants a tailgate strut along with a QuickLift, does that count as 2 items towards the 10, 30, 40 totals?

    If that's the case, even though we only have 20 people so far, do we currently have ~26 total products towards the next pricing bracket?

    alright peeps i just sent Redline tuning the list so far to show how serious we are about this GB, I should be getting some more info tonight or 2morrow,but as usual i will keep u guys informed,I know how it is when I am waiting for a certain item,cant wait to get these.:cool:*****remember you can get pretty much for any make and model for a friend family member for a gift etc etc. so get on the horn with family and friends to see if they are interested.
