Just might take you up on that. I have to go scoop up that lawnmower on Saturday morning. My yard is out of control right now, so depending on how long that takes, we might be able to do that! Do you already have the metal, or is that something I would need to pick up beforehand?

my insurance company was really, ummm...awesome. They told me I wasn't covered for theft because it was stolen in a state that it wasn't insured in. Didn't even matter that I'm active duty. And I couldn't even go to court for it because I was always deployed.

It was a very shitty situation but the good news is it's my bike now and not the insurance companies!

That is pretty sweet. Glad you got it back.

So this drive shaft thing, I know, I know, tom woods...well anyways, called over there today just to inquire, they are not too pricy, but he can only do lengths up to 74" A DCLB is at exactly 78 3/8"

he did test make one for someone. and it had to be 4" instead of the 3.5" in diameter since it was so long. with a driveshaft that long, it doesnt take near the torque to twist that thing and snap it.

He also told me that "death speed" (when it will come apart) is about 2600 rpm. And with my gears, and 305's I'm close. :pout:

He did tell me about the 4" tube.
