    No need to yell!

Now that we know you are not in any immediate danger...

    What is your budget?

Stock is free, works to to protect and looks like a bumper until you can SAVE up the money to get the bumper you want. That is what I am doing, saving to buy what I want instead of wasting money on something I don't want.

    Save your money.

I'm going to assume that you are not in dire need of a plate bumper and just want it for looks.
There's a lot of other aesthetic mods out there, for a helluvalot cheaper than a plate bumper.

Westin brush guard, smitty built nerf bars, roll bar, K&N air filter, Helo 17" Rims with 285-65-17 BFG KM2's, OME 2in lift springs, 0-2.5 lift Bilstein 5100 struts, OME 3in lift leaf springs, 5125 bilstein rear shocks, Projector HID headlights, Blacked corner lamps.
You can get a fairly nice Brush Guard that adds charecter to the front of your truck with added protection. fairly cheap i got mine for $150 and it fits perfect.

5100's w/ Eibachs, Front sway bar in trash mod, Diff drop, 265/75-16 Duratracs or 33x10.50 KM2's on 15x8 wheelers steels, ARB front bumper, Warn VR8000 winch, Trailgear sliders, Allpro rear bumper, Sky Offroad E-Locker guard, Sky Offroad weld on differential guard, Savage skid plates w/ Budbuilt cross member, e-locker rear, ARB air locker front, 4.56 gears, bought it from my mom who bought it new :-D
I bought an ARB from autoanything.com for $797 shipped anywhere in the USA for free. I really wanted an Elite but with a few options and shipping it was well over $1000 so that was a no go.

    +1

If you can't afford it, you can't afford it.
Save your money until you can afford it.
Resist the urge to have to have it "right now" and settle for something cheaper, because in the end, you're going to spend $200 on something you really don't want, $500 on something you really do want, and you'll only get $50 selling the one you didn't want in the first place.
    Total cost, $650.

    Buy cheap, buy twice.
    Buy once, cry once.

    You're right.

    Fuck it.

I'm going to go to Lowe's every payday and buy $50 worth of angle iron until I have enough to bolt together into a bumper, set of sliders... oh hell... and a shackle flip and strut spacer!
