Getting the aal tsb done this week.
I want to lift the front about an inch.
Which would give me a smoother stockish ride?
5100's at .85 or Icons at 1" or so.
    I don't go off road.

Nothing but good things have been said about the Billie's. As far as the Icon's go I couldn't tell ya. What Icon's are you referring to?

    The very expensive coilovers.
That's how important a smoother ride is to me.
I've read a few rough ride 5100 posts here and on TN but they were set higher.

Gotcha....I still can't help you w/the Icon's. Sorry. I don't think you would be disappointed in the Billie's though.

Those icons are are pretty peeny to drop on just a smoother ride. The billies would probably be syffient. But since you have no worries about spending a little, ever thought of OME shocks and coils?

I can get the Icons for a couple hundred less and they're brand new off someone but I have to decide fast.
I don't know much about this kind of stuff but from what I read, the 885 spring rate is 590 and is right for a nice ride but the lift is 2.5-3" with the spring.
I don't know much about the OME shocks.

The OME shocks and the 885's are made to pair up with eachother. I love mine. Rides better than stock IMO

Get the ICON coilovers. If you set them at one inch they will be all they way sagged out, but that is close to how I have mine. They soak up everything. They are a little firmer than stock, but that is good. The great thing about coilovers as well is you can compensate for the Tacoma lean. All Tacomas sit 1/2 inch lower on the driver side. With coilovers you can adjust it to sit dead level.

Get the ICONS then you can raise the truck up in the future if you want to, they will pay for themselves due to the cost of redoing your suspension a second time. The 5100's will have to be removed if you want to increase them to 1.75 or 2.5". I went with a spacer, would love a coil over.

Eibach makes a 1.6" lift spring which looks promising as well. They won't sag, I have used Eibach for lowering cars and they were very high quality springs. Eibach Part#8292.620

I haven't heard anything about these, but they do make good stuff that is for sure. I would get these over the OME anyday.
