Larry, the last part is a big question I have. Is the rituals of religion the motivation behind your drive? Like conditioning? I ask because rational people can not commit to something without justification.

the joker isn't real, but he's still a dick.

i don't know why the site being biased means so much to you. I don't think there exists an opinionated site that is not biased. Which makes sense right, his opinion is only based off of what he has learned/experienced, so there is plenty of information that he has not seen that could change his opinion. But he's pretty knowledgeable, more so than most, which is why i would respect what he thinks.

what i see wrong with your definitions is that you think the second example is unexplainable, which is not true. Both are statistical chances, albeit meeting a friend at the store is a large order of magnitude more likely to occur, the act of having cancer go into remission is still based on chance(of the cancer cells affecting regions that are not terminal or your body being able to manufacture anti-bodies etc.) and the effectiveness of medicine.

Anyone trying to bait another into a verbal war, or trying to simply stir shit in this thread will be banned. Just sayin.

To add, this isnt a Religous debate thread. If you have questions, read post #1. then make a comment accordingly.

not a cop out at all, my friend.

most answered the OP question...many, including you and myself gave opinions beyond the OP topic while keeping it civil.

to continue and turn a discussion into a debate is pointless. I believe Chris made that quite clear above.

moving forward, those with differences of opinion in this thread...does not mean people can not have fun sharing other common interests in other threads.

Have you read the entire thread? Apparently not since truckboattruck has been adding humor to this thread for years.

Ugh... There are too many people that feel the way Hannity does...

"Durr! We can't fathom it because we aren't meant to understand the majesty of God! Herpa derpa doo! The world is so majestic it MUST be because of God! (But only the Christian God, and not one of the thousands believed in before Him that He is based off of)"

All I'm saying is that if someone wants to believe in God, go nuts! Just stop trying to push it on me and make all of society revolve around it!
