I own a 2005 TRD Sport Q-cab. In the next week I'm going to add a 3" lift and I found these tires that have been discontinued for 5 years now on a great deal.

My question is. Are these the right tire for my likeing??? Are they very loud on the highway? I do a lot of highway driveing and I'm in the mud maybe twice a week.

Maybe just some imput on what I'm in for.

    Thanks guy's

i had mt bajas claws on 2 of my trucks
my my dodge had 35 radials and my cj had 35 non radials. they are super loud. they vibrated everything on my dodge loose. the dash was making crazy noises. i still love those tires and would use them again.

Crap!! I dont think I (or she) could live with the massive vibration. One of the nicest things about the truck now is the supper smooth ride...

    Thanks for the imput man.

they must have changed something cuz i had mine on my trucks in 2000 or 2001. i had them on both at the same time and they were loud. i'll try to find a youtube video or sound clip of the tires running down the highway. or better yet maybe you can just tape yours.
are these the tires u running?

edit: unable to find video of these tires on highway

I had 315/75/16 MT baja claws on my 01 Silverado and they were not loud at all. They had a slight hum and that was it. Like tacomaholic said, could be driving 60 and talk normally.

I wonder if thats the big differance between the 31's and the 35's? A buddy of mine just told me he had the same ones I'm looking at on a Jeep about 7 years ago and there was just a nice comfortable hum (haha) to them.

there is def a hum but no where near as comfortable and quiet as an a/t.if your looking for quiet tires, these are not them. even bfg m/t have a slight hum and the baja claws have a way more aggresive tread.
i always run mud tires on my trucks.i dont care if they ride like crap, get crappy gas mileage, or have a short life span.they look 10 times better than a/t. if you dont mind the hum, get them. if your looking for something close to stock, pass on them

Did you actually ask HER if she is opposed to a "massive" and constant vibration? We need to think of others, not just ourselves.

Are you sure it wasn't the Dodge that shook the tires?
