    I've been busy the past couple of days;

    The side panels are welded to the lower plate and bolt up to the bedsides for extra support. 4" flush fit white LED's on the way that will get wired into the stock back up light wiring.

    And the start of my front bumper. A few more tubes and it will be ready for the skid. Notice the hitch receiver that will be tucked behind the skid plate (access hole will be cut) so i can use my winch on a receiver bracket in the front or rear; or not bring it if I don't need it.

    I wish the main tube was a half inch higher but i'm going to do some sheet metal work to eliminate the gap.

    I feel like I'm not cool enough to post here until I have LT... This may very well be true. But I promise...once I do...it'll be awesome?! Not sure how to compete with these wicked trucks though.. Fiberglass fenders and beams sides are really growing on me.

    I will expose me newbiness... I haven't yet bought a Taco :anonymous: and wont be able to for about 2 years, that being said.

    For LT is a first gen or second gen better and why...

    First seems lighter and small=cheaper to build? IDK!

    Try not to flame too hard :eek:

    First gen for every reason. Only thing the 2nd gen has is comfort, more hp, and newer look.

    You are a lot closer than I am. They are across the highway from Firebird. I might stop by if they are giving tours next time i drive up to Phoenix.
