Hey guys, I've read a couple posts here about the FB lift kit sagging an inch in the rear. Anybody have/not have this issue? I'm ready to buy a spacer/AAL lift and I had it narrowed down to Fatbobs 2.75/1.5 with the longer AAL and Bilstein HD all around, (and no I can't afford TC lol) but I DEFINITELY don't want my Taco lookin like she's gonna poop on the potty. Ive also read lotsa good stuff about Fatbobs,so im torn. What are you guys running with success? I've got about $500 to git er done.... Lift is for looks BUT we have the worst roads in the country here,so close to stock ride quality is a must for me. Appreciate the input!

Blacked out badges, weathertechs, painted grill, cut tailpipe, removed mud flaps, black head lights, red calipers, tinted tails, front and rear bilsteins are here along with fatbobs spacer and aal awaiting install, also a set of 16 inch pro comps are here and 265/75/16 dynapros
If you go to the 5 lug pic thread towards the last page is a picture of my silver truck. Its level and I like the height. Its a front spacer rear aal front bilsteins and rear trd bilsteins. Paid a total of $350 by waiting on good deals. Anyways I'm level and pleased

Good lord man, judging by your for sale post (love the chicks makin out) youve tried all possible configurations! Did the whole 6 lug leaf pack swap right in,or did you "make" an aal? How's the rear ride?

the front spacer is a ready lift 2.75 setup, with bilstein hd's, the rear is the 1.5 inch aal from fatbobs "not the longer one" and i found rear trd shocks used on ebay. everything i got was slightly used except the aal from fatbobs, i had time to look around and wait for good deals and it saved me some $ and got the job donea little better with new shocks and stuff. its been a couple weeks so its still "new" however ive already beat the crap out of the truck and tires on old muddy roads putting it to the test and im still level as of now

    http://4wheelonline.com/Fabtech_Toyota_2WD_Tacoma_5Lug_3inch_Spindle_System.26386.645549

This is a 3" spindle in front, with new shocks and AAL, just over the $500 mark. A spindle lift means the wheel is mounted lower, raising the vehicle? If that's the case,it seems like thatd be the worst option as far as stressing the other stock suspension/steering parts,no? Idk squat about suspensions, just guessing here.

The OME or Total Chaos is looking better and better, but ouch... Both over $1000 and I'm gonna spring for professional install,I don't think I can justify a $1500 investment in a lift...

Truck sure looks good. Not trying to piss in your Cheerios, but seems like most ppl with complaints said the sag showed up after a couple months of break-in. It may be the longer AAL that's the culprit though,I'd imagine the shorter one would sag less. How's your ride quality? Would you call it good-as-stock?

That they are, idk how I missed that, thanks. Sooo cross that option off the list.

Ok,what the deal is with the full OME kit for $1000? Is that considered just a lift or will it add travel. If I can catch air in my 2wd I guess I'll get drunk, order $1000 in parts, and deal with it in the morning.

Check out my build. I had the fat bob spacer in the front and AAL in the rear. In fact i'm still using the Fat Bob leaf in the rear and haven't experienced any sagging. I have the spacers for the front you can have if you just pay shipping and throw in enough for a six pack :D
