The Flyers/Penns game had some shit calls as well. I will say and I don't think anyone could disagree that the Penguins and Crosby like to flail at the smallest of hits in order to draw penalties. Be it a part of the game or not....I don't like it. If your injured enough to get a late penalty called then you shouldn't be on the ice for the next face off (Orpic).

All in all from the games I watched last night the refs need to all get a memo and let the players fucking play.

 

It happens every year, the ref's call everything the first few games to try and set a tone. After about 2-3 games they will let more go and we will see much better hockey.

 

Exactly... best playoff game last year was Boston/ Tampa game 7, no penalties.

and before Andrew pipes up , I'm not complaining about that call because in all fairness it evens up the same thing called on Clifford during the last Canucks / Kings game , but I'm just suprised they are calling shit like that in the playoffs .
